The 6pm Silver Ballroom Dance class will get folks moving across the floor, taking advantage of the large open floor-Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango + Swing and American style Rumba. At 7pm we'll have fun with our open level Salsa on2 class that will include some basic Cha Cha Cha fundamentals to gear you up for non-stop dancing at this summer's upcoming fun socials in the city. Lastly, I'm excited about our 8pm Afro Peruvian Ladies' Dance class because we will have 8 classes to dedicate to activating the power of the pelvis, build cardio endurance and help you coordinate arm/leg movement with a percussive and lyrical sensibility. Festejo is about powerful femininity expresses through a dancer's relationship to the drum, or the cajon in Peru's case.(Prounounced "Ka-hone") Email balorico@gmail.com to register/inquire.

Performances: This weekend, E.Mayimbe & B A L O R I C O perform Friday & Saturday nights celebrating the 5th Anniversary of All Vynl Salsa (AVS), hosted and presented by DJ Edgar at Century Ballroom. For beginners, this means the music you hear is played directly from the vynl originals and the music tends to be more diverse in that DJ Edgar along with guest DJ's bring hard-to-find, older, more obscure great Salsa tracks that inspires us all to bring it all to the dance floor....Life is better when you dance!

Welcome to BALORICO's weekly Salsa & Bachata dance training at Viva Arts! SPRING dance series March 4 - April 22nd Sign up on our Classes & Workshops page.   As we continue to graduate dancers into the community with dance confidence and an improved sense of body motion awareness, HAVING FUN is the main reason we are all here. West Seattle Salsa & Bachata

  Dance Training is in full swing with West Seattle's hotspot for Salsa on2 & Bachata dance training. Check out the July schedule. New classes begin Monday July 5th with Beginner Salsa on2,  Wednesday July 7th with Advanced Beginner Salsa and  Monday July 12th we start a new Bachata Sensual series focus (B.Y.O.P.). Save the date Saturday July 24th for a fun, family friendly Open House on the Viva Arts ’ neighborhood block.
